Good night, Ergee.
We are going out to dinner this evening; so you are on your own for a while, Garina. I am sure that the moose and wolves will show up while I am gone.

I am back online again - This time the problem was in the modem Thankfully the modem comes with the line so we don't have to pay for that. It took a few days to get a new one but now we have it. Good to be able to get around on the net as normal.
First thing I saw was 4 deer

Re: Boars cam, winter 2012 - 2013
Glad to have you back, Caysa!
Okay, what is shining between the trees in the back?
It looks like a single star or planet at the WTE cam site that is not moving
It is still visible on the WTE Cam, but is now gone at the pig cam. Maybe the raccoon dog ate it? Could it have been the comet?
It is only early afternoon here, so I cannot go out and look for it in our sky. And it is supposed to be cloudy tonight here. On the comet video from Australia that AllyKass posted in her Den, there is also a very bright object to the right of the comet.

Good evening Bisky,
Probably you have seen the narrow sickle of the moon at the sky
above the boarscam. It is very narrow because on 11.3 the new moon
was beginning to be visible..forming the letter P..from premier..the open side to the left.
At WTE it could be a planet or a big star, I do not know where is the
West there...the planet Jupiter should be visible in the west but
I'm not sure at all! Or Syrius a big shining star. I like to see those things on the webcams..and also to see them here, but at the moment the sky is cloudy again with some snowshowers.

Early morning here 5.50 am. The thermometer outside my kitchen window shows -28C.
Ilmatsalu is not quite that cold, around -15C and seems like some snow has fallen. Dogs are barking and howling somewhere further away....

A lonely roe deer
then another one came, but they are not family nor friends
the first one is eating a tree?

The weather is so cold and the snow is so deep - many of the deer visiting the feeding place might not survive without this help....
Thank you Mait & company!!

Ct between 7.30 and 8.30 pm
As the 2 groups, the group of 12 or more and the group of mostly 6 or 7 boars came in these time, one group after the other , it was possible to see who is Hobble and who is Tripod.
The smaller group has Tripod, look at the above pic, piece of right fore leg misses.
------------------------------------------------------------------
The bigger group, 12 or more, has Hobble.
Hobble's right fore leg is bent, but not shorter and still has claws.
Not yet seen the Limpy group.

Good evening Bisky and Garina,
Nice to see both of you! Garina you told us about an owl that
frightened the roedeer, could you see the bird or
did you recognize the voice? Was it that soft peep peep calling
Pygmy owl or another one?

That is nice! And this time the roedeer were frightened? The other
night they payed no attention to it. Maybe the circumstances were
different, more or less wind and other sounds.
