Nice to be able to see the moon tonight--it has been snowing here in Illinois all day and will continue all night, so there is no moon here to see!

2 cams already closed: birds and eagles feeding place. I fear we wont have this one for long

At least let's hope that they wait until after full moon (if the wolves didn't went away because of the trucks...)

I was thinking the same - when you see one there is many white butts in the bushes
Maybe we need to ask Jan to play paintball and color stamp them so that we can keep track of them

That male is huge!! He looks like a bison

Am I wrong or are we missing some mama boars?? Looks to me that this male is babysitting a lot of teenagers

I have not noticed any big mamas for a while. Just the loners and the young ones going in and out. I do hope that the cam will stay long enough to see some little stripies this year.

I hope so too... Or maybe Jan can place his forest cam here for a while if the worst happens

This buck was really brave. The truck passed by and he did not move until the very last split second - even then he did not disappear from the camera view!

I am glad that you caught that -- I saw it while sitting on the sofa, but was not close enough to get to the keyboard in time to capture it. I was impressed by how long he stayed before moving away a little.

Big boy is back.

No teenagers with him now - he probably took them home and put them to bed before he came back to enjoy feeding alone
