Boars cam, winter 2012 - 2013

Yesterday I watched a new doe coming to the doe that was
eating already..the two got very close together and both made
a soft sound, like they would be mother and fawn..but both were
rather big...It really is so interesting..only it costs lots of time
waiting till something happens...But funny!

What a horrible bunch of rowdies this is! There are some spoiled pigs moaning at their mom when another pig comes too close! Sometimes mom then punishes the other pig...but mostly the wrong one!
Every thing they "say" or scream, they repeat at least 2 times..even when they scratch with a leg they do it 3 times!
No one of the "special 3" Limpy, Hobble, Tripod is in this group.

Better you turn down the sound on your pc!

Just before 1am this buck arrived. He ate alone for about 10 minutes.



Suddenly all others came too. I think I saw 8 individuals but never more than 7 at one time. They kept going in aall direction - especially they seem to like hiding behind Mait's "wall"

A brief appearance from the raccoon dog. I didn't post anything last night because there was nothing to see after an early group of pigs left.

Strange silence, yes.... wonder what keeps the pigs away?
Or maybe better food somewhere else??
Looks like there's acorns on the menu tonight tho

He is back, even though the dog is barking in the distance.


Earlier, a vehicle really lit up the place as it slowly went by.

A furry and 2 roe deer. Dogs were barking but they didn't seem to mind

The furry returned and was there eating very quietly, then a roe buck came and afterwards more 3 roe deer




The buck left

Another doe and a buck came.


And one more buck

Something scared them and they all left

The 3 doe returned

And leaved again

Hello Ergee! I think that he likes the acorns. The deer come and go -- their hooves certainly crunch loudly on the snow. At least the dogs have finally gone to bed.

And as he has no nutscracker it will take time...you are right!

2 roe deers and the monster is coming again


2 more came, the others left and the monster is arriving...

What are these guys doing? Are they foresters? It's near midnight

They must be very hungry because they can hear the works quite close

They are getting braver
