The nest is situated somewhere in western Estonia and as Bisky said we should get more info tomorrow.

The transmission is not so good tho.... Hopefully they can manage to do something about that.

Seems sort of funny that the egg is just there in the nest...

I am not sure about the storks, but I know that the American Bald Eagles don't always sit on the first egg all the time during the day. Keeping it a little cooler at first will lengthen the hatching date closer to the rest of the eggs.

I have not noticed a leg ring of either of storks--has anyone else spotted one?

Yes!!! I mean there is already all sorts of equipment there - cant be hard to get a satellite connection for a TV!!

no,tooni is dead like donna. this is new young couple, juta from lk forum want call them tiina(female) and tiit (male),they seems not have backbags,their way from africa cannot observe

this cam they call "kurg",and this is somewhere in läänemaa (near haapsalu) the first one they call "tooni",because tooni was there first male nesting and this cam is in jõgevamaa,but bigger city nearby is tartu

Yes, I agree. We are having a lot of rain and thunder today; but it is quite pleasant near my computer with the bird songs in the forrest running in the background. I am still waiting for the cuckoo, though.

Even on my birdhouse cam you can hear bird song

I was watching too but she refused to move her butt

I had been watching her sleep for quite a while, too. I was almost ready to log off and go to bed when she finally stood up.
