Junttila BIRD FEEDER CAM is broadcasting !!

The bigger ones eat and sleep! Even the weak chick is more alert and I hope it will start eating soon aswell. They all still have a pretty rotund tummy, that is where the yolk is absorbed, so they still have "internal food".
They do not really care so much about me, it is the other chicks that are more important. And at the moment sleeping in the warmth is the most popular business.

in sleeping time they will grow!

and good to know that with nr 2 is all right,too

I come back on tuesday, then on wednesday i go to tartu to pick up my furball uh i already miss her.

You are on HOLIDAY now - Liki is also!!! She is happy there, you should be too!!!

It is nice to watch them yes... but I so prefer them to be with momma hen......
This time only she would not have sat still on these eggs long enough tho.... so I felt I had to try and save them.

But.... today.... I took them out to the coop. I put them in with the older ones to see what happens. And momma hen immediately took them under her wings!!!
Now I will have to check on them several times per day to see that they are warm under her and that they learn the chicken language and that they eat and drink.

But I so hope it will work!!!!

Please tell us how things go on..can't you put the cam there??

I am not yet sure how this will go... Momma hen is keeping the chicks warm - but will they manage to find food and water???
I will see how it looks tomorrow.... But they are cute!!!

oh man thats the cutest thing ever, I am sure she will be a geat momma to them

I haven't been to the coop yet as it is raining cats and dogs but at least during the night I was glad they were with momma hen - we had a long power cut !!!

surely mamma hen is better than electric!

We just went outside to feed the chickens. I am soooo happy!!!
The smaller chicks have integrated so well with the others!!
It was a mess in there tho , all food cups were upside down and the water was full of hay..... I had to do a big clean . Everyone rushed to both food and water when I put the dishes back
