Which birds eat cheese? I´ve never heard of that before...

Ricky...they cannot read the Italian label.. and cheese eat p.e. blackbirds, sparrows..cut in very small pieces then the tits too eat it.. Some people also think that mice don't eat cheese..but: they
do.. maybe especially the mice that live near houses..and can get there some cheese..a mouse
like Volly will not know cheese is edible....

You are totally right!!!

All birds that eat fatballs would love cheese, but I prefer not to give that because cheese is quite salty. I give coconut fat and animal fat (usually the fatballs contain that) and then they get peanuts and sunflower seed and oat. Occasionally I can add some parrot seeds or other yummy. If I have fruit that is about to go old I have given that too, but it really seems like they do not like frozen fruit so when it is really cold I don't try that. Bread I give sometimes, they like to pick on it but even that I dont give too often as it has salt in it too.

Yes, mice love cheese - I experienced that at the hunting lodge this year

A new bird has found the feeder
I heard them before I saw them and quickly started the cam. They have been around since early morning - I am sure you know which bird I mean

I just read it is very difficult to make a good pic because they almost never sit still without
moving!! Your pic is really interesting! Hope you can see them often.

I think they will come to the cam feeder now that they have discovered it. We have several of them at the other feeders that have been in the same places for years.

Trying to set up the cam..... I have a different puter since last year - sigh..... but maybe soon.

Usually you have them for pet birds

We also have fat balls there and in the feeder is peeled sunflower seeds and crushed nuts.
