Junttila BIRD FEEDER CAM is broadcasting !!

Does this camera measure the distance automatically?

I don't know.... but it is actually the same cam they use for the squirrels........

There is big free place between the trees, the other camera could be there.

Yes, it is much better now. But this is still just temporary... The cam is now hanging behind the window, secured with some tape .
We have triple windows and I am planning on haveing the cam between the outher and the second glass. It might even be possible to hear the birds then. If I would connect the microphone now you would only hear the sounds in our house

Here you can see how the windows are built - there is a good space in between. I would just need some sort of narrow shelf there for the camera. When I chatted with Ophy earlier today we noticed that if the cam is situated a bit higher the light is better.

Oh yeah! There is not right than a rotting corpse in the garden, and the foxes would be making friends with the hens possibly!

There is only a slight problem..... foxes can't get into our garden! But we have 4 dogs and I don't want them to find any carcasses

They are a bit more wild here... and besides.... our "garden" is a bit too big too, you cannot see the fence from this window.

Wy do you think that foxes in Finland are wilder than in Austria?

Because they do never come close to a house!! Unless they are sick somehow... Or - if it is a male and he has no female, then it happens that they come quite close if some of our dogs is in heat . That has happend
We have so wast forests here - they do not need to get close to any houses... We see them on the fields when they are looking for hares or mice but if the notice us - POOF - they are gone.

The cam will be back on in a while - Juha is fixing the shelf between the windows.....

A Bluetit has been visiting today, they are more timid than Great tits so it takes longer before they dare to come to a new feeder.

Now the new view is up - I hope you like it!!

We hang an old apple out too (altho it hangs behind the feeder now...) and you can see Ansa in the background.

Nope, i can´t either. I think no mike is installed

The mike is IN the cam..... but..... for some reason I can't get Ustream to take the sound only from the cam. Also every sound from the puter can be heard - even my typing.... grrrr.
thats why the sound is off.
