A lot of preening going on today.

Everything has to be ready for the first egg
They are so cute!! There is no stress between them, easy to tell that they have done this before.

Good morning, rain! And I will bet that it is still pretty cold there, too--they do not look very happy.

The weather is about to change! We should finally have clear skies today in Finland and that should happen in Estonia only a bit later. So in the afternoon the sun should be shining The temps are not that high yet but certainly on the right side of freezing

It is still quite early, but do you see what I see?? !!!

but i could not guess, that so quick will be egg

The mating starts the egg production, a chicken egg takes 24 hours to develope so I guess this egg takes a bit longer. The egg came right on time

And now there are two!

Will they lay 3 or 4 ?? What do you think?

4 or 5

5 would be really cool, especially if they could feed them all

Another rainy morning -- I do not know if a third egg is there or not. Mom is keeping the eggs nice and dry.

She stood up for a few seconds to stretch her wings -- I think there are now three eggs!

It looks like Tina and Klaara are even with five eggs apiece! Is the nest large enough for so many???

weather forecast for our summer says: hot and dry (it mean not many frogs?) and then maybe they want, that the strongest stroklets will survive this?

I almost hope that all five will not hatch -- not sure there is enough room in the nest for that many as they grow. And I always fear for the last hatchling -- I remember being horrified watching Donna eat one of her young several years back.

Good morning! There still appears to be 2 hatched and 3 unhatched. Nothing new overnight.

Still two (who are growing quickly!) and three eggs. I fear for the little ones if the eggs do hatch -- those two big brutes won't allow any siblings any of the food.
