Thank you!
Sounds very much like a wolf to me!! Nice video of Volli, too
(I could load it on youtube so that everybody of us can watch/hear it. Is that okay for you, Garina?)

[Ct 21.55.
Nervous because of the stormy wind ?
Garina I listened to your Wolf video several times..do you also hear
a 2nd voice in the 2nd howling? A pity that the video is rather short
I could listen an hour to it...we can hear those wolves howling so seldom... I'm so glad you were on the pc in that moment !!! And
thank you Ricky for posting Garina's video!
Would be nice if it happened again tonight but I think there are too
many other noisy things..they won't howl and maybe the sky is cloudy
and no moon visible..

Maybe the moon is not high yet. We have to wait to half an hour or an hour later than yesterday
Re: Boars cam, winter 2012 - 2013
Did you noticed that Volli is not afraid of the wolfs? On the video we can see it wandering around

Wolves aren't bad Ergee they need to eat like all the animals do
I was even thinking that it would be very interesting to see a wolf attacking one of these deers, even nice as they are

Nice pics you have made! They seem to be a bit nervous, partly
because of the wind brings such irregular sounds and probably also
different smells..
Would a wolf come into the light to catch one of them or are they
relativ safe here? But how can they know that!
No, I agree: wolves are not bad but for them, the roedeer, they are!
Beautiful and strong animals and their voices are so mysterious, I love to hear
them and in LK they seem to be interested too!

Now I see that you have the same idea like I had 10 minutes ago..
I asked myself : will I close the pc than? Oh no, I would want to
see what happens. I don't hate animals when they kill to have food!
It's nature!.
Have an interesting night and plse make a video if strange things happen

Hello, good evening Bisky....glad to see you again!
What a terrible weather..even sitting at my pc and hearing the wind
and see the snow I feel the cold!
Not many animals will show up I fear..the irregular blowing wind makes
them nervous too, but they will have to eat! What do you think
about the wolf howling, it really was interesting!
What does Cooper do when he hears it?

Re: Boars cam, winter 2012 - 2013
Good evening to you, Ergee! I hope you are nice and warm. I have some hot tea here with me to get through this windy, snowy night at the computer. Thankfully, we do not have the same thing going on outside our home here and your apartment there! I hope that Ally and Robin are safely inside someplace warm tonight.
It appeared that Mait brought more food than usual this afternoon--he probably anticipated that the animals would be extra hungry at their next visit.
The wolf discussions and sounds are quite interesting. I have been following the discussion both here and on LK. I was not at my computer at that time, so I am so thankful that Garina was able it capture it.
The sounds certainly capture Cooper's attention. But this is the video that brings him running to the computer all excited when I play it for him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5T-ZThSE5rQ

Re: Boars cam, winter 2012 - 2013
Crazy...forbidden!
But I found something like that..woman teaches pup and on another :
man teaches puppy wolf how to howl...funny, but I hope they don't
teach too long. It must be quite frustrating for such a young puppie...
My parents had a dog, a Teckel, Dachshund, about 10 years he was
when we teached him to yawn, like being terribly sleepy.
Dumpy was his name and we, my brother and I, said: Dumpy look: are you that sleepy..
and we yawned... He opened his mouth and started yawning too..
till he had enough, he did not longer look at us turned his back to us
or went into the other room!
He was a black and tan coloured dog and very, very intelligent , a real hunter too and lived 17 years!
