Boars cam, winter 2012 - 2013

Uh oh -- the lifespan of the salt pole is getting shorter.

Good evening Bisky,
What do you think about the saltpole. These boars are much calmer
than the boars in former years, they did not only bit and chew it but
also pushed it ..one after an other was pushing in different directions
until it broke.
I guess Sunday will be the day that it breaks... ; full moon, so they can
see what they do..if there are no clouds!

What do the other members here think??

I think that your full moon theory is a good one, but I am going to guess that it will last until the next full moon on February 25. (At least I hope so because the sweet deer seem to enjoy it on their visits and I would like to see it last a little longer for them.)

Very friendly ideas but I fear it will not last that long..but maybe
Mait or Okaskera prepare a new one...the winter is not yet over...
They will need more salt and: pleasure!
It is getting cold here..however cold? until - 10 * for us rather
cold, there is still snow on the fields and some streets.
In my home it's warm enough and the birds get their food on the
balcony like other years. No Mrs. Onefoot and no Blackbird with open
bill..I'm glad that they are safe, sound and happy!

Volli likes to be a star and comes again very close to the cam

Already crowded with bigs and littles. I hope that they leave some for little Volli tonight.

I have also wondered about the salt pole..... If the pigs keep coming every night now - then my guess for the pole to fall is Monday evening.

I have been watching the poor little pig with a broken front leg...
It seems to manage with the situation but it does not look good when the leg is dragging on the ground. The risk for infection is big and then what???



When I took the picture I was so concentrated on the ill pig that I did not see what was going on in the background

And I was watching the pig couple and not seeing the lame pig!

Anyway, now there's a sweet deer licking what is left of the salt pole -- hope she is enjoying it before it is gone.

Pretty sky and really skinny salt pole.

What could this design be?
Far, very far away, it reminds me of Yin and Yang plus a question mark...

Volli is there, but I think it is Volli2, it must live near the cam

They look healthy and let us hope they don't get some illness...
01.40 now...I was waiting for the boars and the fall of the saltpole
but now I've seen enough...Good night!

Pigs arrived!

They were scared with something and only big funky didn't run away


The others returned but seam still scared

Voices were heard ant they all ran away

Roe deers are not afraid (or not aware) of people

Ct 22.18.. two bucks came on the ground




Ct 22.32 they heard voices and left in a hurry. 2 Minutes later a man's voice called loud something that was like: Hee you!

It appears that the three have returned.
