Hello Ally -- I was just coming here to post almost the same two pictures! They did not stay long; I do not think that they liked the two cars that passed by on the road.

And now my mind is crying and asking: who is this, sun or moon...
Is the sun climbing out of the bed were the moon just hopped in to
get rest untill the next evening?

And where are those two heavenly shining subjects when there is no moon or sun...clouded allover
or "new moon" : in the same bed???? And are all those stars actually: their children?

Am I getting crazy or moonsick? Yes, I'm sure I am!!
Please help me, au secours, Hilfe!!!!!

I guess that Ally made the pictures of the real moon and that in LK
someone made a mistake and thought it was the sun...
There are some minutes between the making of the pics...and you can see the moon is getting lower...
So I guessed that they : moon and sun, use the same bed....etc.etc.
and that we don't want to believe.....

I looked that moonset all time and made different pictures...it is the moon....sun is rising from east...is that cam sight to east?......caysa and okaskera have know it....but i guesss, that not cuf

Ct 11.17 - 11.23. Buck came from behind hayrack, hesitating but
yet coming closer to the food. Tasted some corns but was still afraid
and left..the birds stayed a bit longer, hooded crows are not so often
seen here, or?

Hello, good morning Ally! The same I thought when seeing your pics and the pic in LK.
The sunsets are in front of the cam, the sunrises as much as I remember are left of the saltpole
and more behind the cam.. I asked LK Flex and he only had thought it was the sun because of the colour...so now it is clear!
I compared the pics and it also was clear that the "sun" was lower than the moon..so it had
to be your moon...
It is funny that sometimes simple things are waking up our brain to decide what is right and what is wrong. Your pictures of the sinking moon were proof that it could not be the sun at almost the same time in the same place! No doubt!! Thanks!
So we stay alert ( or not.... ).

I remember that some years ago we saw the shadow of the camera pole and also of the observing "structure" in the morning. So the sun must rise somewhere on the back of the cam

Caysa knows everything, I asked her and she told me that east is behind the cam, west in front of and the road at the right side stretches between east and west...so everything might be clear now...
Garina your picture of the sunset is lovely and also proves that west must be
there.
And the moonpictures Ally posted made me wonder how moon and
sun could share the same bed....

The moon rises in the east and sets in the west - just like the sun. Another proof that this was the moon.

I am warching the cam now and the lame young pig is still going strong. It seems to do well on just 3 legs.
The saltpole is still up but it looks very very thin........
