A young man with no medical qualifications whatever worked as a ward physician at a healthcentre in Karkkila in southern Finland for almost a year, tabloid Iltalehti reported on Friday.
The paper quoted the police as saying the man was suspected of aggravated forgery, fraud and unauthorised practice of medicine.
Iltalehti added that no patient's safety was known to have been jeopardised.
According to the paper the man was caught last summer.
Inspector Rauli Pajuharju told the Finnish News Agency (STT) that the man had worked as a doctor for Mehiläinen, a private healthcare group, in Karjaa late last year.
"When he came to introduce himself he brought along degree certificates with the University of Helsinki's stamp on them," Jarmo Karpakka, the head of medicine at Mehiläinen, told the STT.
He said that the bogus doctor had seen dozens of patients during his two months in Karjaa.

this kind things happend,i read maybe year ago,what in tallinn had one woman dentist practice,but she had not docs graduated. (ok,she was first the dentist helper and then had open own practice,there she got much more money of course and her patients were satisfied too only officials not. people are really very brave

hmmmm right................. ok, we must ask for papers.... then call the university on our mobile phone (remember the doctor is listening all the time haha). If the doctor runs away now - he is fake

i guess you did not want to be patient after all that,docs must to show then...how docs they are and...its would be...painful (had you hear,that they can use syringes...just with water)
