Well, there are serveral ways to help the bunny:
1.) Buy a new 8 minute hour-glass for the bunny.
2.) Buy a clock for the bunny so that any cooking time will be possible in future.
3.) Take the 7 minute hour-glass and wait a bit longer.
4.) Take both hour-glasses so that you have 10 minutes in total but put the eggs in cold water so it will start boiling after 2 minutes.
5.) Cook the eggs with your cooker and egg-timer and give them to the bunny.
6.) Tell the bunny 7 minutes and 3 minutes are together 8 minutes and hope the bunny believes you.
7.) Put eggs that are already cooked in the cooker but don´t swich the cooker on. After some minuts you take them out and say that that were 8 minutes.
8.) Put some more sand in the hour-glasses so you´ll get an 8 minute hour-glass.

So many possibilities...

...or we shoot the Easter rabbit, and all problems are solved. It is necessary to look for an other solution. :D

I also tried the mathematical way but didn´t succeed...

It's not easy to go to the supermarket? It was what I did this morning. My chocolat eggs were cooked in 5 minutes

He puts the 7 and the 3 running. When the 3 ends he puts it running again. When the "second" 3 ends he turns on the fire. WHen the 7 finishes he puts again the 7. And that's it.
