Last week Polle did so too! He has soo many places to hide outside, some of them I found...but he does not come when you call him. I hope Cooper does come?

Our old cat does not come if she doesn't want to, but Musta comes! I think he thinks he is a dog.

Coming when he is called is the one thing that Cooper has always done--even as a tiny puppy. We cannot take any credit for teaching that.

I have never heard of a cat that would come on demand. That's cool.

This one, Speedy, who lived in my home in Spaubeek, the village where I lived 10 years, before coming to Doetinchem, came as soon as I called him. Even outdoors and when he was upstairs..sometimes he even called me..when he was in the garden and wanted me to sit outside too.. Never met such a fantastic cat! He belonged to a neighbour but as she bought a tiny dog who played with his sistercat..he came to
me..sometimes he visited his former house...for his lady it was ok.

But his lady told me he only wanted to sleep on her bed...I gave him
a place downstairs and before I went to bed he was in his own
fur-bed and got his blanket...and he fell asleep and never protested...
Some evenings when I was up late and watched the tv he miauwed and wanted his blanket...
Then he was silent and as I went upstairs I stroke him and all was ok!
What a nice animal. He stayed in Spaubeek as I went to where I am now and as he "passed away" he was about 22 years old.... When I left S. he was plm 20 and I would not have him in an appartment without garden...My other neighbour, she had always given him food and he could sleep there when I was housekeeping at Genna, she has been very good and friendly to him. He loved her too and had a good life there..

Hello Ophi, so nice to "see" you! Yes Speedy had absolutely more! And good lives too..


Once his little mistress visited him and we could give him milk with a doll's feeding bottle...
He loved it even though he could not nurse like a baby..having tooth you cannot not ...(at least Speedy really could not....) but he got the milk by licking.
And he loved our attention and did everything we wanted him too..



like being a modell for a X-mas card!



And he loved the rising warmth of the cv around his head...



I never asked him, but I'm absolutely sure he would have answered the phone for me
and write down the messages!

Our Musta DOES still nurse He sometimes does it on Saima . and Saima, who loves all babies just lets him do it. He can go on forever - his little front paws working hard too, all the time. So the teeth are not the problem. Dog puppies nurse with teeth (mom is not always happy...) and human babies too. Aarni has 8 teeth and he still nurses a few time per day: TISSI, he says and grabs Anna's boobs He tries to bite sometimes and when Anna screams he starts to laugh , and the boy is just 10 month old.... I wonder what he is going to do when he is 15????
