Are we really expecting to see him??? In OUR nest????
Why not? He (probably) was there in the past year as well. So he knows that nest - and he probably will check if there is a female or not...

A lot of my excitement is that he is indeed alive -- he had not moved on the map for many days. And he has stopped by our nest for the last two years -- he just didn't stay either time.

Do we soon have to rename this cam????
I happend to open it and at the same moment the LSE landed
It had some pray with it that it put down and then it started calling LOUDLY!!!
The cam stopped all the time but I took all pics I could.

It kept picking around with the pray, like showing trying to impress on a partner
After a while it decided to take off but not without the food - and now I see clearly - A FROG, of course

It certainly does appear to be ringed. I doubt that Urmas ever looks over here -- maybe you should post it on LK (using your alias or I could do it if you prefer.)

Re: Black Stork Camera Lovers
I see on LK that a BS has visited, only 1 hour after the LSE left
They think it might be Padis!
Keep an eye on the nest now
Actually I think it was around already when I watched the LSE, I heard something that sounded like that "beak clapping" sound...

I will try to keep an eye on the nests today as much as I can with Saga here.
Tomorrow I will not be home much.....
But it really is interesting.... WHO is going to use the nest - or is anyone??
