Re: FUNNY TOPIC
On the first days that are warm enough AND rainy they will start moving around. Might be that a few of them were on the move on the warm days that we have already had this year - but as it was not rainy on these days it definately was not more than a few of them...
Spring is early this year (especially the snow is gone very early) so the amphibians donĀ“t have to hurry anyway...

Re: FUNNY TOPIC
In a zoo in California , a mother tiger gave birth to a rare set of triplet tiger cubs. Unfortunately, due to complications in the pregnancy, the cubs were born prematurely and due to their tiny size, they died shortly after birth.
The mother tiger suddenly started to decline in health, although physically she was fine. The veterinarians felt that the loss of her litter had caused the tigress to fall into a depression The doctors decided that if the tigress could surrogate another mother's cub's, perhaps she would improve.
After checking with many other zoos across the country, there were no tiger cubs of the right age to introduce to the mourning mother. The veterinarians decided to try something that had never been tried in a zoo environment. The only 'orphans' that could be found quickly, were a litter of weanling pigs. The zoo keepers and vets wrapped the piglets in tiger skin and placed the babies around the mother tiger. Would they become cubs or pork chops??

Thanks Bisly for posting that here. I think it is really wonderful to see these things happen
Years ago one of our bunnies had babies. It was a huge breed, the momma was almost 8 kgs. She thought she was a dog, she wouldnt spend time with the other bunnies, only the dogs.
Well, she had her babies in our bedroom in a good size low basket.
One of the labradors we had back then, Della, just loved the babies. She spent all day in the basket with them, she tried to nurse them even, but her nipples were too big. Momma bunny came to feed the babies a few times a day but Della left them only for a few minutes twice a day. I wish I had pics but I can't remember taking any... and it is 25 years ago.

Today is our daughter Anna's birthday too. We went there early to have brunch together.
We got her a new phone Nokia E5....
She was hardly able to eat brunch because of her excitement and when it was time to put the kids for a nap she went to lay down with them to keep them calm so they would fall asleep. She didn't even notice how the kids crawled out of the bed and disapperad
