Air ballooning looks like great fun (although I am not brave enough to try it). But I do love to see them floating past!

I am so going to do that one day!! It fascinates me even just to watch them. But they are unpredictable. Many years ago we had one balloon landing in the field in front of out house Shocked

. We saw it coming and trying to gain more height but the weather had turned colder so it did not work. Luckily they don't fall like a stone so there is a little time to find a safe landing spot.
The same summer we had a glider plane landing in almost exactly the same spot. That was scary but all went well. The guy just lost the lifting airflows and could do nothing but land. The farmer, whos crop was destroyed, was not verty happy but as far as I know he did not ask for any compensation. Kind of him, really.

Alutaguse bear/boar cam...

It is so nice to hear at least their voices!!!

A bunch of wild boars is visiting the Alutaguse bear
ground...their sounds are just like the boars we could
hear last winter in Ilmatsalu...

Hello Ally,

How are you....and what do you know about the low temperatures in Illmatsalu??
I really hope the ground will be frozen soon and we
can see Mait and all "his" wild boars and other animals that come to the camera!
It is much too quiet at the moment!

here you could look weather of ilmatsalu...but as you see...there are +degrees...we have soft weather this time, but as aegna's wizard said: it will be hard winter after new year
we will see

but as you know...mait feeding animals surely already now:P

Hi Ally, Yes I believe you that he will have started feeding allready.
But I would like to see it, we must be patient!

At 4 in the afternoon I entered the house of Donna and Polle.
I had a coffee when Polle came in and wanted to lay down on Donna's blanket.
Donna stood there and looked at Polle, I asked her to lay down beside Polle and she did so. Polle started
purrin and both looked very relaxed and a bit sleepy...

After about half an hour they woke up and Polle went to have something to eat
and then came back to Donna and together they wanted to go outside...
They really are behaving like good friends...
Outside it was dark and windy..no hares or buzzards or roe deer...nothing but
some blackbirds...."

I tried to post 600 x 800 and this is the result!!! I hate this windows 7 prof.
Better to stop all this...at least for to-day!

Hello dear Bisky, Mr. Spikey.....helas, he is ill for weeks again. The same story...
pains, can't eat, inflammation of the intestines like that year when he was in the
animal clinic. The vets only give painkillers and a very expensive dry food...which he
hardly can eat and even than he gets diarrhoea.
His lady had a surgery and was 3 weeks at home but could not carry him down and up the
stairs to let him out ....what a situation.
Poor dog and also poor owners...it's heartbreaking to see your animal suffer and be
not able to help and stop the pain.
Not any idea how this goes on.....
