Re: Osprey Cam
Oh wow!!!! Thank you Ricky!!
My internet has been gone most of the day so I have been totally lost. This is great news!!! Many of the LSE cams are too quiet and even the buzzards in the eagle nest are not very active :(
These guys seem to be really active!

Re: Osprey Cam
I think they are very cool looking birds!!
Altho their name in Estonian suggests that they are eagles - they actually belong to the hawk family. And something about their stamina really is more hawk-like.
The first eggs should soon appear....

Re: Osprey Cam
We have many osprey pairs in Finland and a few webcams too.... So far the nestcams are not functioning very well :(
But this camera is special - it is not a nestcam but a pond cam. The nearby ospreys use this pond for fishing. The cam is working from early morning to late evening and it really lookd quite amazing when the birds strike!!

It is worthwhile to watch it full screen!

It is, indeed, a lovely setting. My list of webcam sites is getting longer and longer!

Here is a video I came across today of an osprey hunting -- amazing. I never saw a bird shake itself off like a dog!
