Yesterday Padis left a feather there..so they could know there

But still, a winter with much snow DOES insulate....
For example we did not have thick ice on the lakes - the snow prevented it from freezing too deep....

Oh, that sound you mean (I had though of another). But once I have heard this sound in a video about moose hunting (it was imitated there, too)

I actually caught the very last calls on this video - the moose had already moved further away but if you listen carefully you can hear it right in the very beginning... 2 or 3 calls fading away. Why did I not hit F9 immediately????
