all these things for me are not horrible:
we was in place,there was not shop nearby...but we had guest,for whose wanted to make coffee...but oops, had run out of coffee filters
geesh, what to do???? and the solution arrived from guest-she asked have you toilet paper,took it and made quickly of it coffee filter....
this guest actually seemed like babe,she have art gallery,have glamorous around her, but she could stay alive in every situation..i guess,it is important...if you have possibility,then use luxury,if not,then not needed to be pepper -shrewdness saves ( and of course balance you know )

I know this toilet paper trick it has happened here too!!!

Kitchen roll can also be a help, even a piece of fine meshed gauze..for example: your net curtains... . Being inventive is the most important thing to help yourself at whatever you have to do. Keep trying!

And if you don't have a fridge and you beer is warm and it is sunny and hot outside - what do you do????? PANIC??????

No, take a knitted wool sock, put the beer can in it, wet the sock and hang it to dry in a sunny spot!! While the water evaporates the beer gets cold
