humm, i think slovakia is one of those countries, where people don't simply make eggs colourful or paint with onion peels, yarn and some stuff but they decorate eggs so that every one is a carefully designed piece of art?
and kurbash - wikipedia says: "It is an instrument of punishment and torture that was used in various Muslim countries"
hehe you have some eastern customs with making others wet as some places in our region do later, when it's the nelipühi or whitsuntide, it's not much celebrated anymore, only in church but in folk calendar it is related to beginning of summer

Re: FUNNY TOPIC
Nelipühi is Helluntai in Finnish; It is very significant for us. It marks the beginning of the summer and there's a saying: If you don't have a sweetheart on Helluntai, you will not have one all summer...
And Helluntai is also the most wanted day for getting married. All churches are booked for even years in advance!

EUROENGLISH
The European Commission have just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the EU rather than German, which was the other possibility. As part of the negotiations, Her Majesty's govt conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5 year phase in plan that would be known as "EuroEnglish": -- In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c".. Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. The hard "c" will be dropped in favor of the "k". This should klear up konfusion and keyboards kan have 1 less letter. There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year, when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with the "f". This will make words like "fotograf" 20% shorter. In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible. Governments will enkorage the removal of double letters, which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. PIGGY FUN
Giant pig crop art in Isle of Ruegen
Farmers in Isle of Ruegen, Northern Germany have used Global Positioning System (GPS) to plough a huge pig image (37,000 square metres) on a cornfield. Not the best quality of crop art, but looks cute…

That´s nothing new.
When I remember my school time, many of my classmates were speaking like that.
"Se Gärmenz ar se onli piipl set kän spiik enozer lengwitsch wifaut en äxent!"
"The Germans are the only people that can speak another language without an accent!"

Re: FUNNY TOPIC
Actually we had a foreign minister once upon a time, that embarassed himself by not speaking english or anything else understandable for that matter... He was known as a ladies man so on his trips he usually had a lady on the room. His famous sentence is (according to a hotel worker) when he stayed in room 32 and called the room service: TOO TII TO TÖÖTITOO.......................(two tea to 32)

Oh man!!! I had to lookin Google maps to see where such a store is. It is actually just by the edge of the town, next to big fields, so the poor bull probably hasn't run trough all town
It has to be Irishmen to let their bulls into shops

AXIOM
A couple is shopping in the supermarket. The husband puts into the car one
twenty-four cardboard Heineken. The woman realised looks at it. The husband
to apologise starts:
- Now on sale, only 10 €.
- We may not allow this to ourselves. - the woman says it strictly and
she puts back the beer.
They are shopping longer, then the wife does the one 20 € jar of cream
into the car. The husband asks about it.
- What's this?
- My face cream. I will look out for beautiful one from him.
- This Heineken on a half-price knows it...
