He gives me a plastic bag with smaller bags inside: Grounded moose meat!!!
Then he explains that he is from the hunting club in which area our forest plot is . All landowners get some meat when a moose is shot - wohoo!!!
When you need it the most, the help is just around the corner - now I can make moose meatballs
and send some to Ally to vary her porridge diet......

Re: Good Morning!
What is the use of this winter / summer time ???
It is as dark at 6 am now as it was last week..... and when Juha comes home he has no chance to do anything in daylight....
My inner clock is mixed up for a long time, I have no idea what time it is. I am trying to think in what way this can make more money for anyone, some business must gain from it.... can't think of anything.
GRRRR I want things to be NORMAL and NATURAL....
But anyway - GOOD MORNING and

Re: Good Morning!
The switch from summer- to winter-time or winter- to summer-time never was a problem to me. Before I go to bed I change the time, my wristwatch first and the clocks etc. Radio and tv changes by themselves and when I wake up in the morning, like this time..I can take all time for getting up I want, because I've 1 hour extra...
But I must say: during the day I almost forgot it..waking up I wondered that it was rather light already. The only thing that pleases me less is the beginning of darkness earlier in the afternoon..but that is all!
Many people have so many problems with this, I absolutely don't understand them and only can think: If these are the only problems they have in their life it is not sooo bad!
They will have time to get accustomed to wintertime until last Sunday in March 2012...
WHY the year is divided in summer- and winter-time is not my problem either. Maybe it would be interesting to know it precisely but I can live without that knowledge too...
Look for WILLIAM WILLET on Google/Internet.. Saving energie is the reason and it sounds very RATIONAL!

Re: Good Morning!
The time changes tend to temporarily mess up my sleep patterns; but as Ergee says, there are a lot worse problems to contend with!
In the United States, we won't be changing our clocks until next weekend, and in the spring we change them a week earlier than Europe. For whatever reasons, this change was made several years ago. So, newer computers and electronic items change the time properly--but older ones already changed yesterday.

He said that he thinks we need a new camera. And he had already looked one up!! So..... Off we went and got it. Very good deal, I think - normally this camera with two lenses costs 900 euros but today we got it for 500 euros - special price!
The cam looks good!! (even though it´s not PANASONIC )

We need to attend a course, I think - to learn how to use the camera correctly...
There should be a manual

Haha, there are two manuals and one CD.....
But for sure we need to do the course - we are too old to learn from only reading
The 16th this month we are going - the course comes for free when you buy a camera.

This is very plain. Aim the camera on it, of what you would like to take a photo. Stand behind the camera...then click!!caysa wrote:caysa wrote:Haha, there are two manuals and one CD.....

You also can choose to sit or lie behind the cam...
but maybe another course-lesson is good to learn how to hold it
in your hands...or feet....

Re: Good Morning!
I am not so sure that we did learn anything..... The teacher was a guy that was a photograper but he had no skills to speak. He was rambling about this and that and jumping from one thing to another. If the seat would not have been so uncomfortable I would have slept.......ergee wrote:You also can choose to sit or lie behind the cam...

The slides he showed was better than his speak but he forgot to talk about what we saw on the white board. When he finally finished talking we were almost an hour late. Juha went up to him and asked if it is possible to get this slide show per email
He was not sure but he thought so. So Juha will probably contact Nikon
