Hi all. Pictures in a few time, maybe this morning
BS are going to be ringed in an hour (more or less). He said that will start to go down at 10 am Portuguese time.

The egg is under the branches on the left side. You can see a white round thing there

The railway line is very close. More or less at the same level than the nest. So they climb the rocks and go down on "rappell". It was like that last year when they ringed the griffon vulture

Hi Garina! I am surprised at how calm the little ones were. Not all growling and snapping like the Estonian storks last year.

Great videos, Garina! It's very smart to cover their eyes with a cloth. I've seen videos of people who ring eagles do this and it works quite well to keep the bird calm. One of the eaglets at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens even fell asleep during their banding a few weeks ago!

Hi Bisky! Yes, last year when he ringed the griffon vulture also covered her head with a cloth and she was very quiet

Yes. It can be. Last here one fell on the river. It was captured and released later.

I'll try to put some more pics or video this evening but I'll go very early in the morning to Azores and have a lot of things to prepare
