Ok! Thanks Ally. Let's see. Maybe they opened it to not have fire. But why they hide the cam? When they leave carrots they don't do it

Hi Bisky.
No deer. Last night it was also like this during the moonlight. They only came when it became darker. Today it will be near an hour later...
But 2 raccoon dogs were there for a while

He is certainly being very cautious -- looks like he is ready to run if needed.

They really love carrots!
And the new antlers seem to be very strong

Re: Red Deer Cam (Saarema Island)
On April 14th there was the steam or smoke coming
from the hay.
I remember that in our country some farmers also had to be very careful if the hay had been brought into the haystacks
and into the barns although the hay was still a bit wet, humide, and then it can get hot and begins to brew and should there get some extra air
into the stack it can easily begin to burn..
in that way some farms are burned down!
In our modern times the farmers have more ways to
dry the hay and almost every farmer knows the danger now.
Should some air get into the hayball while a deer
was eating this hay could have started to burn and the animal could have got wounded.. so some one has opened the ball to prevent that.
The man that brings the food to the Alutaguse bearcam mostly covers the cam when he is there, so the man here did the same. Some people don't like their pictures taken...that is ok!

Yes, it looks like the same bunch from last night -- but when I look at the cam now, they are gone!
