I think I have..... and I will.. The last few days have been so very busy and there has been so much thunder too, that we had been forced to keep the puter unplugged foe safety.

I am suffering from "mouse hand" My right hand is not good at all. I have been doing a lot of clicking because i have had to put together many charts and such for a friend of mine. I have had this once before and it can take forever to get better - sigh.... But I will still post a bit more about our Hiiumaa trip.

One day, when needed to fill up on diesel, Juha did not notice a very sharp metal edge at the elevated part where the diesel pump was....
We just heard a short hissing sound and then BOOOM !!!, when the the left front tire exploded
Juha said a few words, that are not suitable to post, and moved the car a few meters and started changing the tire...



Then we filled up the tank and drove slowly back to Kärdla. Juha was not happy.... he had bought new tires just a few weeks ago. What to do now?? Juha was sure that we can't find a place where they would have exactly the same tires.... and driving with the spare tire was not that pleasant either.
When we reached Kärdla I kept my eyes open and - - I saw this:



Juha was unsure.... How do we explain what we want if they don't speak English or Finnish. I was not worried, we have a dictionary and I was sure that I can explain. And anyway - are there many reasons why you go to a tire shop????

So.... when the owner came to the door I said: Meie autod rõngas on puhkenud, vajame uut, palun. (Our car's tire has broken, we need a new one, please.)
The guy was very nice and immediately took a look at the tire.





Not much to do with this one !!
He searched among his tires and soon he had found exactly a similar one . He put his helper to work....







... and within 15 minutes of arriving there we could leave with a brand new, balanced tire.

Very good service!!!

But how could that happen???? That seems to be a very dangerous place!
Did other cars have the same problems, do the owner of the diesel pump and the ( very handsome) man from the tyres know each other and work together????

Someone had collided with the metal rim earlier and it was bent.... Juha just did not see that. The gas station was very old looking and had no personnel. It was a pure accident
