Re: Leanne's pig trip pictures
feeding place:
food that had escaped from pigs and maybe grows new food:
okaskera's children kätlin and siim with caysa's sweet presents:
loodus-lovers:
remains of volli's nest:
the birches around salt pole were not bitten, they were ok:
the table and supplies to fix the meat:
how the pigs would approach the feeding place - caysa and okaskera are checking something there
the most beautiful "thing":
the crack on the lid, with what the big boy made "klakk klakk":
and okaskera showing that crack:
thing and honey pole next to it - mait had made it and put honey there but bears didn't come hihi
food delivery:
the pigs should come here:
after decorating feeding place with food - everyone tries to get a picture exept caysa, who is the only one that is working/helping :D :
a skewed picture from the place where camera standed before
view towards hunting lodge:
romantic view in the evening:
even more romantic view:
waiting the pigs to come - didn't dare to move, when they did - it was a massive effect how the focusing sound of my digital soap-box camera echoed back from the forest while sitting in the tower!!

Re: Leanne's pig trip pictures
Leanne, your pictures are really artistic! I love the one with the little grain sprouts that went uneaten and the picture of how the pigs approach the feeding ground--it's amazing there's not more damage to the little trees from the way they would all rush through when arriving!
I was going to ask if anyone saw our dear Volli, but I see you searched for him as I would have done
Was that the first destroyed salt pole laying on the ground in the forrest approach picture? Did anyone take it home as a souvenir of the pigs' victory? (I won't ask if anyone took a beaver tail.)
The close up pictures of Thing are great with the cracks and tusk scratches.
One more question and then I will shut up! Did anyone find out about the blue light that would glow in the background when we watched into the wee hours of the night? I can now see it attached to one of the trees where the pigs approached, but it is different from the other lights.

Re: Leanne's pig trip pictures
Eheheh yes, we didn't dare to touch the beaver's tails. And yes, it was the top of salt pole with a metal stab to hold the salt cube. We didn't aslo dare to touch this one, so it stayed where it is :D
I think we actually forgot about the blue light, so i don't know what to think about it now
I have a pentax soap box, it has a good macro function though, pentax optio s 12 it is
