Red Deer Cam (Saarema Island)

This is such a great cam!  Looks like there are not many carrots left.

and mr. magnificient's antlers are growning and growning   

Look how light it is already at 4:15.



(He is the only one I have noticed tonight while I have been watching Dancing with the Stars.)

These two are finishing off what is left of the corn.

He came back looking to see if there was one more carrot left.  He was crunching when he looked up, so he must have been successful.   


I hope the supply will be replenished on Saturday.

I just noticed, is this someone's old antler???

This cam has been started again, away from the
badgers back to the red deer.
About an hour ago there where at least 8 older and younger boars!
I really do hope that Mats'cam also will start soon...
that is the best one for me...

Thank you so much for the news! I am glad that they moved the camera back from the badgers because I think that I only saw them once or twice all summer.

Hopefully the boars will be back often, I really miss seeing them. I fear that Mait's cam may not be running until December if they keep to the schedule they used for the last few years -- that's a long way off!

Hello Garina!  Yes,I just turned on the camera website and then saw your post.
I wonder what they are munching on.  Looks like some corn might have been left for them up front earlier today, but I don't see anything back where they are eating now.

 It was so nice to hear the munching/crunching again.

At Dutch time 19.37 a red deer stag passed by, some
minutes later 2 raccoon dogs followed!

Cool! But the carrots are still untouched
Last night, quite late I also saw a badger

Today on LK some nice pics from the red deer that just
passed by!  and from the rd' s..
I only had my photocam here, PC refused , was to
fast...

Could be a nice place to see and hear the animals,

Rather far away but you can hear red deer roaring! (not yet very enthusiastic...wrong
temperature?? ).

Deer is still going on...a pity that the sound is very soft..

Deer is coming closer and was a bit more "in the mood"  as you could hear!

cam time 23.34 : Tonight you can hear the red deer
loud and not that far away as yesterday...
But a pity that they come not close enough to see them.
And I do not believe there are many of them roaring...
