my cat live now in my parents house. i visited them yesterday and that i saw-my cat licked all times itself under the tail and then i saw, there was like pus,i feeled that this is very bad and said that cat need to go to vet.father said that...let nature make decision, but i felt that this was our quilt, that this happens...then i called to vet and she thought the same that i thought,my cat is female and was not sterilizised, but got all times tablets against babies.....but sometimes she is clever ,she made face that ate tablet, but after you may found it under the armchair ect. ,but in parents place she run outside and there are the other cats, too.....seems, she got babies, but after that again got tablets and this was bad.
today they made operation, vet said all went fine, now she have little waistcoat and medicines, but i hope, now all will go good

Awwwwww - she will be fine now, cats do recover very quickly from this operation and... after this - no more "pills"
Good that she had it done now, before the infection got too bad!!!
Our Alli is still on antibiotics too but as soon as possible after this, and especially if the infection comes back, she also has to have the op.
Let us know how Beauty recovers, please....

I think Robin said : Pats to her (gentle strokes, comforts)
Ally then says: I will send her the pats.
Difficult words to translate... I know what it means - in Finland we also say "pai pai" with a sof voice when we stroke the cheek of a crying child for example. And it always helps

Do you have a pic of Beauty?
Good that she can sleep a lot, will give her new strength.
How old (or young..) is she?
Good Sunday to you and her, and to your parents, of course!

Re: op
oh yes, she absolutely is a real "Beauty"!
Such a nice fur and sooo beautiful eyes..
and those long whiskers.. And not old yet for a healthy cat!
Is she a friendly cat or a kind of filmstar-diva with all kinds
of funny manners?
Thank you for sending such nice and big pictures sooo soon!
I'll look at them often!! And for now: Good night!
This funny picture I just saw in Internet...but your sweet cat has charisma...
And Beauty also has a perfect body I think and will not be as "big" as this one.

Re: op
Tomorrow is Alli's turn to have the op
She is in pretty good condition after 3 weeks of antibiotics but not 100% healed, so the only option is to do it now. The antibiotics will make the operation a bit more secure.

Re: op
No, because she is on maternity leave. She COULD do it, in case of emergency, but the risk when using intravenous anesthetic is much bigger. At the animal hospital they have gas and if something goes wrong they can immediately switch to oxygen. Anna said that she does not want to take the risk with OUR dog . And yes, I agree with her. So we are going to Lohja, a town some 35 kms from here. We have got all the animal care for free from Anna, so this we can afford to pay - not that I know what it will cost . But at this clinic they know Anna, she used to work there once when she was studying. And the vets are quite loyal to each other so I think that the price will be ok.AllyKass wrote:will anna do it???

Hehe, yes it is funny!!
I must hope that Alli's op is "kallis" too!! In Finnish the word "halpa" means cheap but in Estonian almost the same word "halb" means bad... (Cheap in Estonian is "odav", I think).

Re: op
The same was my thought...Alli??? And Anna???????
And I was totally awake...
Yesterday Donna had her OP....Same thing! She had symptoms
like being pregnant...
She looked at Polle and did as if he was her pup...cleaned his ears
and his head...untill Polle miauwed and ran away...
She sometimes had this and fever too...
Yesterday everything went very well, she came home and wanted to
lay on her cushion..After some hours Polle went to her and stretched
near Donna, his tail on her paws...and both have slept some time.
This was the first time Polle was so long so close to Donna...
A shame that I was not there to do some pictures...I remembered
Donna's Lady of this possibility...she will try to think of it.
Coming Tuesday in the afternoon I will be there, but then Polle will
no longer behave like now, I think. We will see...
Those animals...Beauty, Cooper, Polle, Donna...all had some surgery!
