Cool that the lse cam with Tuuli is back. Urmas has brought some
necessary things. Even now in the bad light you could see Tuuli.
1 fluffy young and 1 egg still.

The other egg must be infertile.... But that suits me well in this case.

Both woke up and feeding began..

Feeding is done, trying to rest or sleep but at 6.30 there was a gunshot rather nearby, mom looked around...

Ergee has been up early
Dreadfully wet in the nest but Tuuli is keeping her chick dry and warm

tuuli is away and little tormi is home alone

The egg is broken and the chick is smeared in the stuff from inside .... I did not see how it happend but it happend recently because the egg was there some time after 8pm.
I checked PONTU pics.

I think the chick accidently broke it....

and it must to smell awfull as you once talked about not redy egg

I am sure, yes..... and that is probably why it broke too - it was ready to explode....

I hope that the chick's feathers dont glue together now and that the smell does not attract

Tormi has been growing fast and well during the busy weeks in July and he was ringed yesterday!

Tormi left the nest last night.... Something is not right.... Mom spent the night alone in the nest and now she has been hunting and brought a mole for Tormi - that is not there!! And no calling sounds either....
