They were the eagles a lot in the nest today.

Yes, and the female has been behaving like my hens before they lay eggs !!
Turning around in the nest, restlesly- and every now and then checking if there perhaps is an egg already.
And now she is sleeping in the nest - good sign!!

Everybody expects it for the end of the month on the LK forum the eagle nestlings. I have an old description (yet before a world war), it writes 22-24 day incubation times. It is loose on the next week. :scratch:

Strange... everywhere I look it says 36-41 days.
22-24 seems very short.... They are after all pretty big birds.
My little hens incubate for 21 days!

nope...
i don't look much cameras after the pigcam went down.. i just be patient and wait next season ... i dont find that saddisfaction in other cams..

I wait for the eagle nestlings, but nothing happens.
In Tartu is with 5-6 degrees cooler,than at us. I am thinking
about it, that the temperature of the air influences the incubation time? :scratch:

There some people didn´t like that name because of its similarity to "coitus".

But there´s another word that sounds strange to Austrians:
"kotkas" = "eagle" in English
But the German "Kot" is "excrement" in English and "Kas" is the Austrian pronunciation of the German word "Käse" that means "cheese" in English.
So it sounds like "excrement cheese"
