Last year it was far too much. I think in April the last snow in our garden had melted.

I think our lowest temp was -32. That doesn't usually last for so many days. But THAT feels kinda chilly, I have to admit.

We usually dont get that much snow as Ricky, thankfully!!
Less than 1 meter usually in this area. And the guy who ploughes our road is clever, he turns the plough the other way by our house, all snow ends up in the field.
Of course there is a lot of snow to handle anyway, but usually we just make paths to the garage and henhouse and woodstore. The dogs love the snow and make their own network of paths, all our garden is a criss cross pattern Where is OPHIOPHAGUS??? - Page 33 Icon_clown

It was over at us the big snowfalls were canceled in some years. The winter was white yet in my childhood. Now already only it is snowing with two-three shape litters. The road manager and the railroad start the preparation with an early autumn already at us onto the winter! Cool

To the good preparation time is needed! Idea

Last year we had a sad winter - not much snow until in late February!! Mostly, right after a good snowfall, we got plus temperatures again. Everything melts to a muddy snow mix. Then that freezes..... and so on.

Well, 175cm is VERY unsual here too! Usually it´s (far) less than a metre...

And to today it did NOT snow! Smile

At least not in Lienz, but higher in the mountains it did....
