deers are nice, but....who had destroyed the trailer??

In LK Bleggi from Bavaria posted some pics..a boar was working hard yesterday evening and digged a hole in the ground.
Today Jopie and Bleggi made pics where a roe deer is doing something near/in
the hole.
I saw the roe deer too, it was not chewing but shallowing...could there be water in the hole???

could be, but you could not hear and see him bite and chew, but only swallow...the moves were different from chewing...

I saw the deer doing that too but I still have a very hard time to believe that there is water. The frost is much deeper down than that. One thing that comes to my mind is that there might be salt there... We have all seen how much the pigs love to dig and eat around the saltpole on cam 1....

Could it be that the upper layer of the ground is melted by the sun
and higher temperatures and that some water cannot sink deeper while
there the frost is?
Would be interesting to know what it is, but whom can we ask?

The sin was really strong yesterday and it DID melt something here too but why would it melt just a small part??
Or???? Can the camera lens have served as a magnifier glass????????
hard to believe tho....

I remember so a last year was like this ......

many deers are there, one buck had fresh fur antlers

I was watching the cam at dawn - and I can't remember that I have seen quite all this before. The last pigs are still eating - reluctant to leave but the deer are moving in, they are hungry too!
I recoreded a couple of videos if you want to see it.

silvi is very brave, these boars are much quarrelsome than ours...

Don't worry, Ally - it always happens to me too - I have the wrong cam open or then I just happen to be away from the computer when somethings happen. We all have a life at home too (I think )

Here too you can hear the cracking in the trees...cold!!!

This buck seems to be more hungry than afraid...

seems that this buck was the protagonist in caysas deers vs pigs story, too.

Are they all waiting for Silvy?? I love to see them coming down from
the mountains on the right side!

It would be very understandable that it is much, much too cold to stay
at the boars tonight! But it was nice to see her!

Silvy's dog was chasing the boars. It was really wonderful to see
how they all ran into the forest. That dog was barking so furious..
and running...it was a joy to see it. He even took his time to mark against the tree!







The dog was soo fast that it was impossible to make a real sharp picture.
And nobody called him to come home..they will know that
he is wise and fast enough to avoid any harm the boars could do to him,
it was pure joy and laughing to watch this dog-show!

Can we say: Frost damaged camera??
