What bird is this? Much smaller than a Raven.
Shape of a crow, but no grey colour (= no Hooded Crow (Corvus corone cornix)). And I don´t think that Carrion Crows (Corvus corone corone) occur in Estonia...
Is it really a Carrion Crow? Or a Hooded Crow but the grey colour is invisible? Or an oddly shaped Jackdow?

That were Jackdaws (Corvus monedula)
As I said I´m quite sure that it was a Jackdaw today, too.

Pretty snow with no footprints.
5:02 a.m. Someone is quietly munching out of view of the camera.
6:31 a.m. Still snowing. Radar reports say that Santa is on our east coast and will be heading toward Illinois soon, so I had better get to bed or he won't leave any presents! Good night, and Merry Christmas to you all.

Merry Christmas Bisky - I hope Santa has left you nice presents to find when you wake up.
He visited us in person last night and he told us he was a little tired. But Saga gave him some really good chocolate candy and he immediatley got new energy - he was sure to make it in time to visit everyone!! We had left hay for his deer too,so they should also be ok

Hehe - Well, you see......
Santa's reindeer stayed in the horse pen (the horses were already inside the stable) and they rested and had some hay. We did not want to disturb them.
But of course we have a picture of Joulupukki and Saga!!
