Second Estonian Wild Pig Cam 2010 in Lääne Virumaa

Little ones are staying up late! They seem to be taking fewer milk breaks than last week.

When the moms and piglets came in from the right, the males that had been there eating ran for the back exit!

After the little ones left, the rest came back to eat in the pouring rain.



Is this snow???? Come on Estonia, it is May!

The camera is having some difficulties



The BS cam is also temporarily disconnected, and Jaanioja has no lights! The seal cam is out, as well as the white-tailed eagle cam. The night shift may be finishing up early tonight!

They're back! Even a couple of piglets have joined the group.

They remind me of this cake "Radio Cake" that my Granny used to make when we were kids. It is called Radio Cake because it was the first recipe ever given on radio - everything had been only news and classic music before
The cake is simply layers or bisquits and melted chocolate

Strange behaviour: some 5 big boars were eating, about 5 little piglets came out of the forest towards the boars..these boars stopped eating, ran to the piglets and vanished with them in the forest at the left side..
I hear boars coming...

They come but I believe they are waiting for the music to can dance...

Now they are at the border of the meadow...

Something frightens them...back in the wood..maybe the farmer/chief is there??

At least they came, they seem to be extremely hungry...
Maybe they are afraid in the dark...

Now everybody is there and eating..

This big, ugly boar chased the small piglets!

Piglets seem to be all there...and it is raining terribly. And suddenly all ran into the forest, finding a shelter?

If the weather was anything like we had and are still having - it is AWFUL!!!!

Yes, you can tell that they love what they are doing there, and they are proud to do it !
Without these people we would not have seen any pyjama piglets this season......
