I´m sure you would have recognized a wolf howling close to the cam. But on the other hand I´m sure the guys from the hunting forum know how a wolf sounds.

Maybe it was just a typing error and it was 4 am or sth No idea what really happened....

Wolves don´t bark. And it was a howling (like we heard last season) they heard on the hunting forum...
Quite different sounds.

Some minutes ago I heard the Nutcracker again.
Now Ravens are calling.

And I think I also heard Jackdaws in the distance.

I was here until 4h Estonian time and then was again between 5h and 6h30 Estonian time and didnt' hear howling. Only munching and steps. But Bisky said that she heard a "screaming" in between

When I heard the wolves last year at first I thought it were humans (a drunken gang or something ), so maybe Bisky really heard wolves. Let´s wait and see what she says...

I have been trying to find wolf sounds similar to what was heard. On this site, http://www.wolfcountry.net/WolfSounds.html the pup howl and the yipping do sound like a dog.

I could not find anything like the scream that I heard. It was similar to the screaming of the raccoon dogs last spring, but a deeper, stronger sound. As I said last night, it almost sounded human -- but maybe I just read too many murder mystery books!

Maybe it was a raccoon dog fight. Some of their screaming last year was horrible!

I think that they are around. We can hear footsteps and munching

No Laaly. From time to time I look to the place where he usually appeared but haven't seen him yet. But it is also more difficult because the cam is in zoom out
