Thanks everyone! Yes Ergee, this will be the last of it. All this attention on me makes me all nervous and weird. I have a hard time with 1 day, 3 was a lot! I guess I am not comfortable with having things be about me.

The day is starting out good. Slept in, which was the main thing I wanted to do, it's stormy outside (rain/snow and windy) so that makes me want to stay cuddled up in bed watching movies, which is something else I wanted to do. Then, later this afternoon, I will bake cookies. :-D

My version of oatmeal cookies. I use marichino cherries instead of raisins, and add chopped pecans and toffee chips. Mmmmmmmmm

Here's everything ready and waiting...


Creaming sugars and butter together...


Adding in eggs and vanilla...


Now for the dry ingredients, flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon...


Time for the oatmeal, toffee chips, pecan chips, and chopped cherries...


Ooooooo, almost time! On the pan and waiting for the oven...
