Hello Bisky,
This afternoon magpies, jays and crows plus raven
really screamed that somewhere was a danger...and
in the distance you could hear a roedoe barking: Danger!!

But what kind of danger ??? Don't know...

whistle Mr. Bisky and I have an arrangement:  Since he is a much better baker than I am, I cook dinner and he is in charge of any baked treats!  nod

In LK's Boarcam of today there are lots of pictures and texts conc. a schoolclass at the feedingground and Mait who is explaining.. funny!
Mait looks better than at the end of the past year I think, not yet tired after many weeks of bringing food in all kinds of weather and low temperatures and sometimes rain, snow and
stormy winds!
I wish him and also Okaskera a "good" winter and interesting encouters with all kinds of wild animals!

I just see that in the big group, about 12 or 13 boars, there is 1 boar with only 3 legs,
right fore leg seems to be very short, lost a whole part, knee and foot, as far as I
could see it under these circumstances..rather dark etc.
Is this TRIPOD from last year?
23.14.

A loner arrived shortly after midnight.  The young ones stayed back for a while, got closer and got chased away, but eventually all coexisted peacefully.

At least in some parts of Germany and Austria many boars cannot be eaten as they are too radioactive. All that is a result of the Chernobyl catastrophy...
This map shows that Estonia was not hit too seriously...

In Portugal many pigs cannot be eaten, as well as deer and also some cows, due to tuberculosis

The salt pole won't last long: a pig is pushing it and it is balancing with a noise like "tong tong"
