2013 Black Stork Nest

No change this morning. Still two active guys that like to bonk each other with their beaks.

There do not appear to be any holes or cracks in the remaining eggs, although each parent keeps moving them around often.

Two weeks old.

Three and a half weeks old with black feathers starting to come in!

The eggs are still there.... will they soon explode in this warm weather??

I think that two of the eggs were removed when the storklets were recently banded, but the third egg could not be found.

These two have really grown since I last checked on them!  Looks like they are practicing their getaway.

yes, its time, after month they will leave to egipt  

How lucky we have been to be able to watch them again. I wish there was money enough to have senders on these young ones....

I agree, Caysa. It appears that one is already practicing its flying skills!

Nobody is home -- both must be out exploring for a while!

2 Black storck branchers are talking very loud and are moving a lot on the nest  and a third bird is on the left branche.
So they did not yet take a flight to Egypt or leave for ever.
 
Will be the last pic. I tried to make and store from a scr.sh.  Takes too much time and as nobody has time to explain how it really works to store and find it back I must stop these try outs
