ESTONIAN WILD PIG CAM 2011 -2012

Sounds quite similar to distant mating calls of Red Deer or Wapiti. But if that really were the case they would be at least 3 months late So it must be something else unless there is a deer farm close to the cam - domestic deer don´t always mate when it´s natural as Ergee´s Fallow Deer showed...

GENNA thinks it looks like a German shepherd dog, but a real wild animal and rather old, coming from the other side of the Peipsii lake,
speaking Russian language and being alone and calling relatives...

Perhaps to Mait or Okaskera that howling sound is welknown?

I hope that someone knows, yes - it sounded so odd in the dark......

A while ago I heard a fox barking in the distance.... a dog somewhere closer got annoyed

VERY NOISY! EVEN HERE YOU CAN HEAR THEM!

The boars are nervous.... They hide in the bushes but we can hear them Finally they come in front of the cam - but..... they smell SOMETHING or SOMEONE.... Is someone in the hide??

Something scares Pale Snout....

Got just now fresh information about wolves. In our hunting area during last week in many places has been heard howling and hunters have seen tracks. So caysa, most likely your recording is wolves too but it sounds very weird for me. Anyway, 1 of hunters heard howling from my eagle hide direction 2 days ago. And as i sayd in many places many nights (mostly very early mornings) has been heard howling.

the nights! And it seems that wolves are often closer by than we
might think!

I actually was almost sure that it was wolf howling. Not at first - but when I started listen to wolf sounds on the internet - a lonely wolf looking for the pack can sound just like that.....

Pigs are back! Yesterday the furries were behind the cam and we could hear their steps and munching many time before they decided to appear

They are real comic bunch of boars..Running and chewing and not very noisy..but warning sounds
let them disappear at once...like now at ct 01.50.
