Re: ALLY'S DEN
I sure hope she gets some sleep. Probably she will sleep near Vega and IF Vega starts giving birth she will hear it. I hope Vega will stay in one piece until tomorrow - it is much easier when you have slept and are not tired. In this case I will probably be there taking care of Aarni and doing all normal things that have to be done.
Remains to see.......
Just in case - I think I better get myself ready to go to bed... Who knows when I get a call to come over.....
Good Night!!

Some people collect the sap and make wine of it.... That I have never tasted but I think it could be better than the fresh sap

Leopards have a long gestation period, around 12 weeks = +/- 94 days.
So if it is now 90 days.... Could be soon or next week

Re: ALLY'S DEN
She is definately in labour now, but I think it is still the opening stage. The licking is usually just a way to handle the pain. Dogs often do that too. Also the playing she is doing is typical distraction behavior.
This stage might take even 12 hours but as Darla has had babies before it might be quicker. The babies will probably pop out easily when she is ready to push.
