What a nice and quiet youngsters in a beautiful light.
And now with 2 adults to guide them they show a totally different behaviour! Like Ally said yesterday: with the adults near them they are fighting,
screaming and yelling..left alone they are careful and very silently
behaving! Teenagers...

Hi Bisky, What is that "calling" ...I just missed the fox, but probably it is the fox calling.
Ricky did you hear it too?? A lower voice..not the high notes now...
Maybe we can see him in a minute... or a furry....

Have a nice Sunday with your husband and , of course, Cooper!
Is he doing well at "school" He looks very serious on most pictures, must be a real pleasure to have that dog in your home!

Re: ESTONIAN WILD PIG CAM 2010 -2011
I was thinking... IF that is BIG MAMA..... her belly is not quite as big, is it??? What do boar mamas do when the piglets are still too small to follow her? If she is hungry - will she leave them alone while she goes to find food?? I can't remember seeing any facts about this .
Does anyone know??

As far as I know the first days the mother stays with the piglets.
After about a week, if the weather is not too cold and wet she and
the piglets leave the "nest".. but Ricky can tell more, I'm sure!
This could be such a place where she gave birth to the piglets and where they
stay the first days...or a week.

Yes, she will leave her piglets alone for some time. But you can be sure that she can still hear/smell what is going at the piglets´ "nest"... A quick dinner on the feeding ground for instance and then back to her piglets...
After 1 or 2 weeks the stripies can follow her mother.

Re: ESTONIAN WILD PIG CAM 2010 -2011
Caysa, do you mean the high sounds you could hear while they all
were eating? That sounds are made by one of the youngsters..
last year there was also such a grumbling monster, always trying
to attract the attention of his mom! And this year there is the
same behaviour of one of them, a spoilt brat!. I noticed it very often last weeks.
In LK someone (Venegor?) asked if the boar in the centre has a wound on his back..
Same question like last year conc. some boars. Sometimes it were wet spots, or
some hair was lost in a fight or passing creeping barbed wire.. Or his barber made a mistake!
What could it be here?? Did Okaskera of Mait see a wounded boar??

Aha!! A spoiled brat I like that !
The Boar in the middle.... hmmm, does not look that bad... maybe he has sometimes, in his youth had an injury there or something. Does not look like an open wound to me...
