Where is OPHIOPHAGUS???

hmm...all things may waste your time and not to waste and be necessary, it mean:
depends on what purpose you are concerned
would you tell the same of books, that they are only to waste your time??
i dont think so,that you dare to say it (but i have heard of these people too,what to do-to destroy the books?)
but tv is more then books,maybe this makes using and the necessity complex
but here is question for all:
which depends on whether the matter will give you something, or not?

(we all want to be with good people and good things .... because it is
easier for us to ourselves, then we have i "translate" all the time
things around us but then not live in us,what is then better?)

I sometimes watch TV at night if I cant sleep...
And perhaps a documentary or something people related before I fall asleep. Mostly it's hubby watching sports.....
So much rubbish on tv nowadays....

It very much depends on what the book is about. Many books are also wasted time.

I wish that was possible..... But sadly, I think that if we don't have rubbish (one way or another) we would not be able to compare. We would not see the good things.

I don´t hate tv/radio/books. But I simply want to spend my time on better things.

(And of course: There are some things on TV that are worth being watched. But if I had a TV I would also watch nonsence. And this is what I don´t want. And to be honest: I really do not miss the TV, not at all.
And I also have lots of books.)

Oh, that´s quite a lot...
- quite a lot of my free time I spend in nature
- if I have taken photos I have load them on my computer, change the names, put them in the right folders
- if I have been hunting the venison has to be cut up, the hunting trophies have to be prepared (that last ages sometimes, but I very much like it), the report has to be written and so on
- I write and read here on LLL, on LK and on a German hunting forum
- I watch the webcams a bit (and the screenshots have to be edited a little)

You see, everything is connected with nature somehow...

Well, and then I have to work of course (1 to 12 hours per day and 7 days a week)

And then the day is over no time left......

If I would live in a smaller city, then I would spend my free time also outside as much as I can and tv is not needed, but without a car in a big city is not much choice to go where I want so I understand you Ricky, to be in the nature is million times better than watch tv

The things I most enjoy is hunting and beeing in nature. There is no reason, that are my personal feelings (but it´s logical since people have done the same already thousands of years ago)
Then hunting trophies/venison/photos are a "result" of hunting/being in nature.
Read on the forums - because I like to "talk" with people who have similar feelings concerning nature.
And the main reason why I watch the webcams is to have a contact to nature while I am at home or working.

if you said that your doing are better than tv watching,that these poor tv watchers should have done,finish that they like and started to do everything, what do you think is a better.
