Every night, this is what takes place. My ENTIRE yard is covered, inch by inch.

In my father's house in the country there are lots of them but from those that when you touch them they roll...
They are welcoming him every weekend

The world is full of the strangest things!!!
Why do worms appear like that??? So many of them....
At least Deb has a very good soil now to plant almost anything!!

I read the title of the topic. I phoned of the airport promptly. I took out the suitcase. I did not can, i will need a tailcoat? Will be a cocktail party? Or only evening ox baking? I read the topic.
I put back the tailcoat, and I canceled the air-ticket.

My brother had a childhood friend who ate those same worms.... just to chock people!!! I guess he was maybe 11 or 12 years old at the time. I was 15, so I remember it well.

Some years ago, Patrick (that is his name) applied for a job at my brothers firm.... My brother told me that he just couldn't hire him - the memories were too crazy!!

when we were kids it was loads of baby turtles we used to move em to the other side of the road so they would'nt get hit

Sadly, my fishing pole is packed away in storage unit until I find my own home to live in again. Right now I am just renting a small place.

My avatar pic. Well, that picture was taken out at the farm I lived on, prior to my marriage ending. The little barn swallow fell out of it's nest that was attached to the eve of our garage. I brought it in the house, ground up some worms every day for it and caught some bugs with a net out in the field. And, that was his yummy diet for about a week. At that point it decided it could fly and wanted to go back with it's family. Every once in a while, when I was sitting quietly outside alone, it would come back for a little visit that entire summer. The picture was taken the day I turned it back out into the wild. That was like the 5th time it came back to me...lol. Finally it took off with it's buddies.

When I was a child, i found a swallow. From before a cat I saved it. But I did not manage to raise it. I did not succeed...

Awww, Mr. Oph, I'm sorry you lost it. I have to admit, I was lucky on that one. Usually they die, yes.

Our Boars were very very happy,if they had so much worms...

Yes, so sad. I´ve tried quite often to raise helpless young ones or injured adults. 8 times I succeeded but more often I did not (about 12 times - I had to count). Both is quite a lot - I know - but I used to live in the country for some years where I had serveral foundlings each year. Now I live in the outer part of a small city. But still - every now and than - there are found helpless animals.
It always a special moment to let an animal go that you cared for a long time - you´re sad and deeply happy at the same time. And a really wonderful moment is when it returns to you one day - as you had it too, Deb.
But a horrible time is going to come when an animal died you cared for a long time.
