Tallinn Zoo was born this morning, 6-year old Siberian Leopardia Darla two puppies, may come to be added.
Zoo director Mati Kaal said that first puppy saw the light this morning at 7:51 and 9:55 the second. Which is a little's sex, a good case, it appears two weeks after, not before. Only then can a new-born doctors to be reviewed.

before one was darker, it was not dry,but now both are dry and suck milk

Yes, that is natures way. The afterbirth contains a lot of the hormone ocsitosin, which helps the contractions but also increases milk produce. You know - Mother Nature......

No.. Every puppy has its own afterbirth (placenta) and that comes either directly after the puppy is born or then just sometimes later on. If the afterbirth comes between puppies it is good, then she gets more of the hormone and it is easier to deliver the rest of the puppies. Also the already born puppies will get some milk to feed on. The real good milk production usually starts only after the last puppy is born.
Also - when the puppies suck the milk - this stimulates the contractions - which also helps the mom to deliver the rest.
Nature is so amazing!!

What a wonderful thing to watch! Thank you, Ally. While you are off doing your shopping, mom and babies are resting. I don't know if there was a third kitten or not.

I'm back - we went to see the little river flooding too....
Now I must open the kitten cam again
