In the mountains (or at least in the hunting area) it is already arriving. Above the tree line the grass is slowly changing its colour from green to brown. There are many foggy days, low temperatures. You really feel autumn. And in 2 or 3 weeks Red Deers´ mating season is starting (and that definitely is autumn).
Somehow it´s crazy: Roe Deers´ mating season (which is typical for summer) is about to end and Red Deers´ mating season (typical for autumn) is starting very soon. I have never experienced it like this as I never had Roe AND Red deer in my hunting areas.

And even before Red Deers´ mating season is over Sikas Deers´ and Fallow Deers´ mating season starts. Even before their mating seasons are over Moufflons´ and Boars´ mating seasons start. And in November Chamois´ mating season starts. And in December Ibexes´ mating season starts. And so on Where is OPHIOPHAGUS??? Icon_lol

But we don´t have neihter Sika and Fallow Deer, nor Moufflons or Boars in the hunting area of course.

Actually boars do occur Where is OPHIOPHAGUS??? Icon_lol

- but extremely rarely. 2 years a boar has been shot about 10km north of the hunting area. Where is OPHIOPHAGUS??? Icon_lol

A feeding ground does already exist - for deer. Where is OPHIOPHAGUS??? Icon_lol

I can imagine his advice...
1.) Don´t put the cam up if the ground is muddy
2.) Be careful with the laws - feeding in summer is forbidden
3.) Put up an automatic feeder as boars don´t like to eat food that is lying on the ground
4.) Give wrong information whenever it is possible

I´m quite sure that he would get a heart attack - at least if the cam is online.
Once he said that he had a trail cam (cam that automatically takes pics when an animal walks by) somewhere in his HA but as we know we must not believe in everything that he says. Where is OPHIOPHAGUS??? Icon_wink

I am actually thinking about putting up such a trail cam, too BUT firstly I do not know where to place it secondly I´m not sure if the HA owner would be okay with that.

The Scout Guard cam that Juha has works fine and it comes in camo color, you can hide it from the HA owner Where is OPHIOPHAGUS??? Icon_clown

Just heard a message on radio: People in the Hague, Amsterdam
and other cities in the west part of our land:

Warning from the Police:

Don't go outside if not necessary: more than heavy rain! Streets are
flooted, a bus with passengers got stuck under viaduct in the water...

Here it just began to rain but on a 6 floor no flooting yet....

but if we got suddenly heavy rain with lots of water in one time some times ago,then i saw how cars stopped after drove on water bassein,that our roads was became,too.
in this year its raining with lots of water...nature changes...
