Hello everyone...
I just thought I would say hi, that yes I am still here and checking in on things, but no, I have not been posting.
I have just recently gone back to school to obtain a degree in psychology. It is taking a toll on me, since the last time I was in any type of class room was over 22 years ago.
If you really need me, which I don't think you would as you have Caysa and Anna both here, please pm me so you get my attention. I do come here at least twice a day yet to check on things.
Take care everyone, play nice Mr. Oph, and enjoy your conversations!!!!!!!! Me, I will just secretly be watching Eha and her babies while I attend my online class rooms. I am going to Walden University online, part of the Laureate system. www.waldenu.edu.

Re: Hello everyone...
Thanks everyone for your well wishes.
Caysa, I didn't 'feel' like a school girl until my books arrived and I removed them from their plastic wrapping...mmmmmm, they smelled new. I haven't smelled that smell in so long! It was very inspiring and motivating to smell it again. Weird little thing, I know.
I am hurrying Robin. I am in the excellerated program, so will be racing to get done as soon as possible, but we are still talking years. Maybe I will take half a term off here and there just to recoop and spend quality time with everyone. We shall see how intense it gets.
I am praying hard it doesn't get too difficult for me Ricky. I want this SO badly. I know that it is my true inner passion. I just have to keep my eye on the end result is all.

Re: Hello everyone...
Mr. Oph, you know I find you completely adorable and life would not be the same without you here with us. Silly boy.
Re: Hello everyone...
Well, I have reached the end of my first two classes. I managed a perfect score in one and only lost 2 points in the other, over the full 6 weeks. I get a whole week off, YIPEEE!!! , and then it is back at it again.
Thank you all for providing good reading material while I snuck on here for breaks. I can't say that it has been easy, or that it is too difficult to continue. I am just happy the first ones are done and behind me now.

Re: Hello everyone...
I guess was not easy. But the hard work causes a joy of this size only. I congratulate you on this superb result!Admin wrote:Well, I have reached the end of my first two classes. Congratulations! I used to teach adults at one of our local colleges for many years, so I know how difficult it is to start back after being a non-student for a long time. You should be very proud of your wonderful achievement--Give 'em hell the next six weeks!

Re: Hello everyone...
Now that my meetings are over with for the week, I can relax after work. I have my lounge chair set up in the back yard with a little table next to it to hold my phone and a cold drink. I'm ready for my 'mini-vacation'!
Re: Hello everyone...
Heavy to do the vacation without a stress. Is disappearing so, Deb will succeed!

So quiet here today....?
Is the sun shining ?? Is the weather good enough to be out there??
Not here.... It is raining - A LOT!!
Well, I am off to see my daughter Crista and her family in Helsinki.
I will be back later on in the evening.
Meanwhile - look at this one - then give me ONE reason why I cannot have a PIG

Re: Hello everyone...
No, it is definately NOT warm enough to be sitting outside. The sun is shining, but it is a false sense of warmth. We didn't even get out of the 60°F range yesterday! The day before that was even colder.
I guess we had our 2 weeks of summer and I should just be happy I got that.
I don't see any reason why you shouldn't have a pig Caysa. Go for it! Get one and THEN worry about what hubby might say afterwards. But, that might also leave you begging for forgiveness also.

Poor Juha! He was ready with the playhouse now, and now may build up one for the pig?

Oh no!!! He will not need to build one for the pig!!! The pig is even more clever than a dog... and the dogs live in OUR house... so why not the pig????
You see, having a pig is very easy!!!!

I have met moose several times... Then I just stand still and let the moose go away.
But one time, many years ago.... I was with a friend in the forest picking mushrooms. We came to a place where we had to jum down from a rock - I knew that down there is probably nice chantarelles. Ok, we jumped (not high, maybe one meter or so) and landed by a bush.... Behind that bush a full grown bull moose had been resting. He jumped up and almost stepped on us when he took off. I don't know who was more scared - the moose or us! We sat down for a pretty long time before we were able to continue forward.
I have never met a bear... only seen droppings and scratched trees and such.
I have no idea what I really would do if I met one.....
Here is what happend recently, in Hyrynsalmi, Finland: http://www.iltasanomat.fi/videot/kotimaa/1708764
Might give you an idea of what to do when you see a swimming moose!!!!
