White Stork Nest in Matsalu

It appears that the camera from the owl's nest was moved several weeks ago to a nest with three white stork chicks -- how did I miss that???

They look well fed.  Probably will be fledging before long.

An adult has stayed with them through the night for the past four nights.

Both adults are keeping watch tonight.

We also have a cam (2 cams on the same site) with several white stork nests. But we have so many white storks in Portugal that I don't pay attention

I think they all fly right now. One was ringed and has a transmitor so that it can be followed during the rest of the season.

It appears that someone is out trying his/her flying skills!

i read it from estonian forum and wanted to say it here, too.....but you already saw it yourself

The camera stream stopped working before dark, so I don't know if it made it back to the nest to spend the night.
