Thank you, Ally, for the link to the article, although poor Google does not translate Estonian to English very well.

Near the end of the article, the word cannibalism was used by Google. Do the raccoon dogs really eat each other in the winter or is this just another very bad translation?

"If you only know where they all are," replied the seakaameraga feed wildlife on the site in front of your nose looks after the Tähtvere jahiseltsi manager Mait Siimson. "In the meantime, went to a bunch of ten pigs to eat there, but they will be resolved in mid-January. Site, there is emptiness. "

Wednesday night went to the site pruukosti taking the boar and fox. This winter there are Mait Siimson silmanud sokku and the two goats, which are on the site so far have been fairly regular diners. In addition, they went to remove the bitter frosts, the feed grain Square nosimas raccoon dog pair.

"It is likely that wild boars have put off the wolves," said Mait Siimson. "The woods are still moving." Recently broke söödaplatsist wolves and a half kilometers away as the crow flies off the adult elk. Yesterday at lunch wolf river floodplain intelligence did Mait Siimson Kärevere saw the bridge near the bush Villemi two traces.

Dry pond inhabitants

Shaggy wild pigs is certainly aware, but a pair of raccoon dogs feed on the site visited is in order, confirmed by the Chair of Zoology University Lecturer Harry Valdmann. In particular the Harry Valdmann with a couple of young scientists in the two years of raccoon dogs in early December last year, the radio transmitter collar, which can monitor the animal moves. A similar collar was a little past the third raccoon, but he disappeared after the freedom of access to the thin air.

"Radio escorted us to a cool raccoons remained in orbit all the time, they just keep scuttled around," said Harri Valdmann. Raccoon seakaamerast couple lives about two miles away from the impression created in the old dry pond, which is not within the borough Ilmatsalu.

"The residence of the couple may well say that the raccoons are inimlembesed animals, although they puresid kaelustamise while still pretty hard for us," said Harri Valdmann.

Furthermore, the raccoons are fairly sedentary: frost slept a couple of radio transmitters home in the pond under the open sky and the cold on arrival, they burrowed beneath the pond kaldasse dug hole where tukuvad so far.

Raccoon dogs and their companions will explore in depth the type of Harri Valdmann University PhD student supervised by Karmen fathom, who wants to study we find out what the raccoons are eating and what type of parasites and diseases they spread.

Radio transmitters in the neck by means scientists can view what is kährikutel forage habitat near the site of choice when they are actively moving animals in winter, and the raccoon dog is the effect of ground nesting birds, including protected species such as grouse.

The study by researchers neck for at least another five raccoon dogs. "Now is the kährikutel a rut, do they come out soon, burrow, and then you can embrace new animals," said Harri Valdmann.

Thanks for posting a much more readable article! I use Google Chrome as my web browser and just assumed I was getting the same Google translation as what you posted. I was definitely wrong!

In my translation

read like this:

Once again, thanks for taking the time to clear up my obvious confusion!

Mr. Itchy/Scratchy doesn't seem to mind sharing with the wealthy fox, although the fox is still cautious.

If the snowing lasts long enough, then we will do boar hunting tomorrow evening Laughing We use "medical gun" to put it sleep and if we suceed, then it gets gps-collar over neck.

We will take female as they mostly are not hunters target and they lead groups. As under camera is no boars at the moment, we try to get 1 on other feeding 1,5 km from cam, where now is at least 3 groups with about 24 animals in total
