But..maybe this helps: if you hear the buzzard-like sound and you cannot see the buzzard and there are jay's that don't fly away, it probably was one of them that made
the call..otherwise they all would have left and tried to escape...

When I heard "the buzzard" the feeding ground was completely empty.....ergee wrote:But..maybe this helps: if you hear the buzzard-like sound and you cannot see the buzzard and there are jay's that don't fly away, it probably was one of them that made

I also think I heard a Grey-headed woodpecker.... I tried to make a video to catch the sound but the recording started slowly I got only a little bit of the second call.... and then it didn't call again...

Depends on the distance between the buzzard and the jay. And it depends on the buzzard´s behaviour too.
A jay probably escapes if a buzzard flies directly towards it but a distant buzzard call won´t scare the jay for sure

Here you can see how the boar is very interested in the birdhouse but he sure knows that when it falls down it gets scary
His reaction is funny!!

The bird call on the video - might be a Grey-headed Woodpecker but the sound is very "soft" so it might also be a Pygmy Owl... I´m not sure. Both species have this series of calls...

The big one is afraid but yesterday it wasone of the younger pigs (from the family "mother plus 3") that pushed it down and he wasn't afraid at all not even when it fell

I can't see you pics
There is a red X and when I click it enters a program but it says that there is no pic
Now it's 4 of them (4 young with no mom, or mom +3?), and getting closer to LLLL but maybe there is nothing interesting in there today?

At 2:00 a.m. all had been quiet for a while. I did not see anyone after the young pigs left and the birdfeeder was untouched.
We went out to dinner, and have come back (around 5:00 a.m.) to find the white "too many retries" screen!
6:21 The cam is working again

Thats exactly what i thought. Specialy when i look the time of the day. Gray headed´s sound "muutub" during the call like this, it starts more intensive and with shorter pauses between phüü-phüü and pauses will be longer and longer.
In the video its too short to be sure but time of the day looks a bit late for woodpecker.
