If you want to see how it looks almost real time check this address http://alk.tiehallinto.fi/alk/frames/kelikamerat-frame.html . Those are all road cams that shows traffic and weather on the roads. But you can see a lot of stuff if you are lucky. The pics refresh every now and then, some more often than others.

The page looks like this. On the left you see the green map. Click on Lapin lääni (Lapland). Lapland cameras will occur to the right. I drew a line where the polar circle is, anything above that should show SUN (if the weather is clear) 24/7. Nowhere in Finland will it be dark tho, so have a look around The Midnight Sun Icon_sunny Some of the cams in Lapland have really beautiful views!!!

For example in Sodankylä.... on May 29th the sun rises at 1.41 am - and it sets again on July 14th at 12.49 am (00.41h)

i have been there,we drove to north norway...and then was sun not going to sleep there, some of us were going to top of mountain and thought that they watch how sun is setting....waited and waited and then saw that not, sun not setting but started to go up again Razz and all time was sun shining Cool

The weathre has been just wonderful, yes!!

It was really hard to see the moon here as the nights are so light. No use to even try and capture it on a picture. In mid Finland and more north they did not see it at all faint
